POST APPLIED: ROTATING EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Responsible for carrying out the assigned tasks and activities under the supervision of Rotating Equipment Supervisor or his designate • Shall work independently on Rotating equipment overhaul with minimal supervision. • Ensures good housekeeping of the work area and ensures that tools and equipment are properly used and stored. • Works in accordance with established company procedures, professional standards and HSE requirement. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering EXPERIENCE: 5 to 10 Years BACKGROUND: • experience in the field of Rotating Equipment maintenance of Methanol / Ammonia or similar Petrochemical plants. • Hands-on-experience in overhauling of large process plant Equipment’s like compressors, steam turbines, pumps, air coolers, process furnaces, boilers, and other process equipment’s. • Knowledge of basic principles of rotating equipment, seals, bearings and lubrication. • Fluent in English and having fair knowledge of conducting safety audits.
