POST APPLIED: ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION- 1. ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER - PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Responsible for the overall shutdown activities in his assigned area and reports to QAFAC representative or his designate. KEY TASKS AND RESULTS: • Planning, organizing and monitoring of assigned shutdown work with multi-cultural teams consisting Supervisors and Technicians. • Shall be responsible to delegate supervisors, Planning the jobs with his supervisors and carryout all the jobs in his assigned area as per the procedures. Responsible for Safety and Timely execution. Arranging spares/ permits. Preparing reports. Liaise with vendor reps and QAFAC Rep. Optimize utilization of resources in his area. • Works in accordance with established company procedures, professional standards and HSE requirement. AST188041 - REQUIREMENT FOR QAR – 25/07/2023 CLIENT INTERVIEW KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering EXPERIENCE: 15/20 Years BACKGROUND: • Experience in the field of Rotating Equipment maintenance of Methanol / Ammonia or large Petrochemical plants. • Knowledge and experience in overhauling of large process plant Equipment’s like compressors, steam turbines, pumps, air coolers, process furnaces, boilers, and other process equipment’s. • Knowledge of basic principles of rotating equipment, seals, bearings, vibrations, and • lubrication. Detail operation knowledge of rotating equipment. • Fluent in English and having good report writing skills. Well versed with spare parts management and computerized maintenance systems like SAP, engineering drawings, laser alignment technique.
