We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Business for Shyft Middle East – a ‘Tech driven Last Mile Delivery Company’. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our business operations, focusing on driving growth, efficiency, and profitability. As the Head of Business, you will play a pivotal role in setting and executing the company's strategic direction, ensuring exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders. Head of Business Responsibilities  Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion in the last mile delivery segment for domestic UAE market as well as the regional GCC markets.  Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and market presence.  Lead and manage a team of professionals across various functions, including operations, sales, marketing, and customer service, to achieve business goals.  Drive operational excellence and efficiency by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.  Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.  Develop and manage the company's budget, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve revenue and profitability targets.  Identify gaps in the tech solution and drive enhancements by working closely with the product team to enhance the product as per market and client requirements.  Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service throughout the organization.  Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities for the business.  Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build networks, promote the brand, and explore potential partnerships. Head of Business Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree would be a plus.  Proven experience of minimum 15 years of which at least 5 years to have been spent in a leadership role within the last mile delivery industry or a related field.  Strong knowledge and understanding of last mile delivery operations, logistics, and supply chain management.  Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, achieving targets, and managing P&L responsibilities.  Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.  Ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.  Proficient in using technology and software applications related to logistics and supply chain management.  Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify and seize market opportunities.
