POST APPLIED: MOBILE CRANE OPERATOR

Free Food  Free Accommodation  Free Transportation  Other benefits as per UAE labor law Operates cranes of varying jib lengths, type and handling capacities to load, unload or move heavy materials, equipment around the job site as needed. Carries out regular, routine maintenance and servicing work on the crane and associated hoisting equipment such us the boom, shackles, slings, brake and clutch assemblies to ensure safe working all times. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Operate crawler cranes under general supervision.  Carry out daily inspection of cranes and related equipment on a daily basis, note any cases of malfunction and ensure that appropriate repair works are done in a timely manner.  Perform the upkeep and regular maintenance of crane equipment with a high emphasis on safety.  Use appropriate hand & arm signals as per the crane chart to install, position, handle & move materials.  Ensure that the load to be lifted is within the safe lifting capacity of the crane.  Position the crane according to the project blueprint, using the jib and hoist line to raise and lower materials as needed.  Work with other construction personnel to ensure that loads are properly secured before moving them.  Monitor the load at all times to ensure that it does not swing or shift unexpectedly.  Lower the load gently and precisely into place to avoid damage.  Use the crane to move materials around the job site as needed.  Perform routine maintenance on the crane to keep it in good working order.  Keep track of the crane’s hours of operation and maintain a log of all activity.  Report any problems with the crane to the supervisor immediately.  Keep the work area clean and free of debris to avoid accidents.  Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the crane. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS a) Total of 4 years’ experience with 2 years’ experience in handling with 250 ton - 360 ton crawler cranes. b) Must have relevant permits or licenses required in UAE. c) Must be physically fit to perform long hours of work on site. d) Must have a steady hand to balance the gears properly. e) Knowledge of safety regulations that govern crane operation, such as road regulations and vehicle weight permits. f) Knowledge of design, use & maintenance of related machines and tools. g) Good knowledge in English. (Written & Verbal) h) Age Limit: 45 years old. SALARY  Depends on the candidate’s experience.. (AED 3,000.00 – AED 4,500.00).
