POST APPLIED: Rotating Equipment Technician

Responsible for carrying out the assigned tasks and activities under the supervision of Rotating Equi pment Supervisor or his designate · Shall work independently on Rotating equipment overhaul with minimal supervision. · Ensures good housekeeping of the work area and ensures that tools and equipment are properly used and stored. · Works in accordance with established company procedures, professional standards and HSE requirement. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: · EDUCATION: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering · EXPERIENCE: 5 to 10 Years · BACKGROUND: experience in the field of Rotating Equipment maintenance of Methanol / Ammonia or similar Petrochemical plants. SPECIAL SKILLS: · Hands-on-experience in overhauling of large process plant Equipment’s like compressors, steam turbines, pumps, air coolers, process furnaces, boilers, and other process equipment’s. · Knowledge of basic principles of rotating equipment, seals, bearings and lubrication. · Fluent in English and having fair knowledge of conducting safety audits.
