POST APPLIED: Rotating Equipment Supervisor

Responsible for the overall shutdown activities in his assigned area and reports to Rotating Equipme nt Engineer or his designate · Utilize resources effectively and plan ahead sequence of jobs according to requirement to complete jobs safely as per schedule with multi-cultural teams of Technicians. · Shall able to carry out major overhaul of rotating equipment with or without vendor supervision. Responsible to carry out the job as per procedure and within schedule. Ensure smooth workflow without waiting time or delays. · Conduct toolbox meetings, well aware and communicate job Hazards and ensure that the works carried out in safe and effective manner. · Works in accordance with established company procedures, professional standards and HSE requirement. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: · EDUCATION: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering · EXPERIENCE: 10 to 15 Years · BACKGROUND: Rotating Equipment maintenance experience of which last 5 years as Supervisor/ Foreman covering all types of rotating equipment in Methanol / Ammonia or large Petrochemical plants. SPECIAL SKILLS: · Knowledge and hands-on-experience in overhauling of large process plant Equipment’s like compressors, steam turbines, pumps, air coolers, process furnaces, boilers, and other process equipment. · Good Knowledge of principles of rotating equipment, seals, bearings, vibrations, and lubrication. · Fluent in English and having good report writing skills. Well versed with spare parts management and computerized maintenance systems like SAP, laser alignment technique.
